Internal Control Unit

Functions of the Internal Control Unit:

• Assess the risks facing the Authority and make proposals for how to deal with them and participate in the preparation of plans to address potential risks. .

• To audit the administrative, financial and technical discussions issued by the authority and ensure that it agrees with laws and regulation in force. .

• Auditing on the administrative, financial and technical decisions issued by the authority and verifying that it agrees with the provisions and legislations in force.

• The contribution in the safeguarding of assets and protection of public funds to ensure that the receipt and payment vouchers match the applicable legislations and decisions of the board of commissioners and insure the accuracy and fundamentalism of records, documents and the official files of the authority..

• Ensuring the proper use of the humans and financial resources by following up and evaluating the administrative, financial and technical activities in the authority including the provided services. .

• Provide and follow up the recommendations filed to the board of commissioners according to the results of the auditing and inspection rounds.

• The contribution in the planning, organizing and policy making processes

• To study and evaluate the suggestions and notes made by the authority’s employees, which are transferred by the senior management about performance improvements and sufficiency in general. .

• To evaluate the performance of the departments and departments of the authority. .

• To participate in the different works of the committees.

• Any other duties assigned by the chairman of the board of the commissioners.
